About Us

New Perspectives exists to create an inspiring, popular and critically-acclaimed programme of touring theatre that touches the lives of individuals and communities in the rural East Midlands and reaches out to new audiences through regular national and occasional international touring.

As the largest single provider of touring theatre to the East Midlands' network of rural community venues, the company produces 3-5 new productions per year, in addition to running a range of participatory/training projects, and managing Northants Touring Arts, the rural touring scheme for Northamptonshire - www.northantstouringarts.co.uk.

Recent successes include the company's production of The Hired Man which toured throughout the UK during 2007/2008 before transferring to the Brits Off Broadway festival in New York during the summer of 2008. Our 2009/2010 programme of Farm Boy, Faith Healer and Those Magnificent Men has continued to attract wide critical and popular acclaim.

New Perspectives is a company limited by guarantee, a registered charity and a member of the NRTF.
