New Perspectives has been making touring theatre in the East Midlands for nearly 40 years now, so these days we're pretty well established, both within the region and the wider theatre industry. However, like all theatre companies, we started small, and we still know just how tough it can be getting a new theatre company off the ground, particularly outside London.

So we've decided to clear space in our programme each year to work closely with an emerging East Midlands based company to help them develop their artistic and business practices, to learn more about the touring markets we make work for (including rural touring), and to advise on increasing bookings, building audiences and generating profile for future work.

We have a flexible range of opportunities on offer, including:

and would expect to tailor an exact programme of support/mentoring to suit the specific needs/diary of any company we work with.
