Our production of Farm Boy has now opened at 59E59 Theatre in New York as part of the Brits Off Broadway Festival.
We were delighted when we heard the news that we would be returning to this fantastic showcase of small scale British theatre following our run of The Hired Man in 2008.
The production opened on 7 December and stars John Walters, who has played the Grandfather since the first performance and Richard Pryal who joined the company for the first time to take up the role of Grandson. It will play until 1 Janury 2012.
As you can imagine the cast and crew are having a wonderful time spending Christmas in New York and here at New Perspectives we are delighted to have spread our wings across the atlantic once more.

'With nothing more than Tim Brierley and Susan Winters' detailed and evocative tractor sitting center stage and one wooden chair, Morpurgo and Buckroyd's language conjures the sights, sounds, and even the smells of rural life, aided only by Mark Dymock's sensitive lighting, Matt Marks' superb and subtle original score, and the two fine performers.' - Backstage.com
