Our upcoming co-production with DerbyLIVE of The Honey Man, has had a change in casting.
Due to unforeseen circumstances the role of Honey Man will now be played by Tyrone Huggins, who is also the writer of the play.
Tyrone will join Esther Smith, who takes on the role of 15 year old Misty, in telling his absorbing tale of growing up and growing old, of individual responsibility and shared history, of dying bees, healing herbs and (possibly) a little magic.
Opening at The Guildhall Theatre, Derby on Friday 16 March, the play is directed by Suzanne Gorman, designed by Juliet Shillingford, will lit by Jeremy Rowe and with sound designed by Adam McCready. After its run at Derby, the show will go on a rural tour of UK until the end of May.
