Daniel Hoffman-Gill

Actor and writer made in Nottingham who trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Theatre includes: Oliver Twist (Regent's Park Open Air Theatre), Wrong 'Uns, (Pleasance), The Man Who Was Thursday (Arcola), The Dinner Party (Dance4), Jack and the Beanstalk, Of Mice And Men, The Ashes (all Nottingham Playhouse), The Girl Who Kept a Fly as a Pet (National Theatre Studio), Zero (Theatre Absolute), The Lesson (White Bear Theatre), BED (Battersea Arts Centre) and Dreams Come Out To Play (Birmingham Rep/Oxford Playhouse). Daniel worked with Robert Downey Jr for Universal Pictures Dolittle and other feature films include BAFTA winner Julian Kemp's My Last Five Girlfriends (Paramount Pictures), starring alongside Naomi Harris, British horror-comedy Kill Keith and Disney's Alice Through The Looking Glass. Television includes: The Nevers (HBO), Django (SKY/Canal+) Sherwood, Sherlock, Doctor Who, Live At The Electric, Miranda and Dangerfield (all BBC); Galavant (ABC), The Job Lot and Tricked (ITV2), The Fastest Milkfloat In The World (Carlton), Emmerdale, Heartbeat (Yorkshire) and Peak Practice (Carlton).

Director - Angharad Jones

Angharad Jones became Artistic Director of New Perspectives in October 2021.

Angharad was Associate Director of New Perspectives' award-winning production of The Fishermen by Chigozie Obioma, adapted for the stage by Gbolahan Obisensan and directed by Jack McNamara.

Former co-founder and Joint Artistic Director of Fifth Word. Directing credits for Fifth Word include: LAVA by James Fritz (world premiere Nottingham Playhouse) Bones by Jane Upton (Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Tristan Bates and UK Tour) Painkillers by Paul Buie (Edinburgh Fringe Festival,East Midlands tour) Angharad was associate director on All The Little Lights by Jane Upton (Nottingham Playhouse, UK Tour, Arcola Theatre 2017 - Nominated for Off West End Award for Best New Play and Joint Winner of the George Devine Award).

Designer - Gemma Casely-Kirk

Sound Designer - Adam P McCready

Adam P McCready is a composer, sound designer, musician and sound recordist. Performing under the name Poetical Machines he has created sound designs and music scores for theatre and dance productions, films, radio/audio dramas and podcast series. He has also devised several multi-speaker, interactive sound installations for galleries and museums.

New Perspectives is an East Midlands' based touring theatre company, specialising in bringing new work to rural and community audiences. Through an annual programme of original adaptations, rare revivals and new writing, we aim to bring live theatre that is diverse, affordable and accessible into the heart of wide-ranging communities, as well as to regional, national and international venues.
