Champion regional emerging talent

Open Pitch Appeal
We invite you to play your part in supporting an early career theatre maker to create and tour their first major professional production to rural and community venues across the region.

Open Pitch is a new competition that encourages regional artists to present original project ideas suitable for rural touring to a New Perspectives panel of creative practitioners. Three artists are offered targeted support over a short development phase to progress their piece, before a winner is awarded.

You are invited to support the Open Pitch journey:
Individual Open Pitch Champion:  £480 per year
Corporate Open Pitch Champion:  £900 per year

As an Open Pitch Champion you will make difference by:
- supporting a new ideas to flourish into a professional touring production
- investing in the career development of an emerging artist
- helping adventurous home-grown performances for regional rural and community audiences thrive
To say thank you we will share project updates, place your name in lights on our website for a year and invite you to a project showing.
