Isla promised she would never write to David again. But 30 years is a long time to keep a promise....

At a time when our connections to each other have been put on hold, New Perspectives has created an innovative and COVID-safe way to immerse rural audiences in an original bite-size drama. Told through six unique postcards mailed directly to your door, this is an opportunity to rediscover the joy and beauty of written correspondence through a story of young love, lost love and new beginnings.

Please note: this is NOT a live performance. The postcards will be mailed in the New Year from the week commencing 25 January 2021. UK addresses will receive all six postcards over a period of two months; we anticipate postcards mailed to overseas addresses to take a little longer.
Audiences receiving cards in October will receive all six postcards by mid-December; postcards mailed to overseas addresses will continue through to mid-January 2021.

KEEP THE SECRET: We encourage you to keep and share the cards with friends and neighbours but please don't reveal the story or share the postcard images on social media so that more audiences can enjoy this at first hand too.

New Perspectives is an East Midlands' based touring theatre company, specialising in bringing new work to rural and community audiences. Through an annual programme of original adaptations, rare revivals and new writing, we aim to bring live theatre that is diverse, affordable and accessible into the heart of wide-ranging communities, as well as to regional, national and international venues.
