Jack has been Artistic Director of New Perspectives since September 2012.

Productions for the company include: Once Upon Our Times (Southbank), trade (National Tour) The Fishermen (Trafalgar Studios/ HOME Manchester) The Boss of It All (Assembly Roxy, Edinburgh & Soho Theatre); The Lovesong of Alfred J Hitchcock (Brits off Broadway, New York & UK tour); Him With His Foot In His Mouth, Watching the Living (both UK tours); HOOD (150th Anniversary Commission, Nottingham Theatre Royal) and Darkness Darkness (Nottingham Playhouse co-production), Harvest (regional tour) and Sisyphus (BE Festival, MESS Award Winner).

Productions for children and family audiences include: The Tiger's Bones and Other Stories (UK tour), The Giant Jam Sandwich (UK tour & Edinburgh) and The Wolf, The Duck and The Mouse (in a co-production with the Unicorn Theatre).

Designer - Ruth Sutcliffe

Lighting Designer - Azusa Ono

Azusa has been creating lighting designs for various types of shows since she studied fine arts in Japan and trained in lighting design at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London.

Drew trained at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. New Perspectives is an East Midlands' based touring theatre company, specialising in bringing new work to rural and community audiences. Through an annual programme of original adaptations, rare revivals and new writing, we aim to bring live theatre that is diverse, affordable and accessible into the heart of wide-ranging communities, as well as to regional, national and international venues.  
Our productions are testament to the fact that rural theatre is as relevant, challenging and vital as theatre made for any other environment.
